A Gradual Return The royal has been undertaking her own steady comeback to the public eye following her health challenges and treatment, in November making her major oration since 2023, in which she talked about recognising the "selfless, commonly overlooked efforts of carers". Musical Talent and Access Guests arriving at the Abbey will be entertained by young musicians aided by the Future Talent charity, co-founded by the former royal to broaden opportunities for instrumental training. An 18-year-old named Carys Wood, who performs on the trumpet and is from Wales, has been supported by the charity, with grants helping towards instruments, tuition, and transportation expenses - and she said it was "awesome" to be playing at the concert. "Music can be very expensive," the musician remarked. She is now a student at the renowned conservatoire, and added that "everyone should have the opportunity" to develop their musical skills. A Sisterly Duo Eliza, Carys's sister who is 11, who plays the euphonium, will also be at the Abbey. "I never thought I'd be able to play there in front of so many important people," she said. Attending the service will be representatives of different generations. That will encompass young Saphia Turner, nine, winner of a youth community award, who produces drawings and undertakes charity feats to collect donations for food banks.
